Text2:

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi

By the (mount) Tur,

Waalttoori

and an open Book

wakitaEb(in) mmasTuwr(in)

written on a fine scroll,

Fiy raqq(in) mman.shuwr(in)

and the inhabited House,

a(a)l.bay.ti (a)lma`.muwri

and the elevated roof,

wa(a)lssaq.fi (a)l.mar.fuw`i

and the surging ocean,

wa(a)l.baH.ri (a)l.mas.juwri

the torment of your Lord shall surely come to pass,

_innaA `adhaAba rabbika lawaEqi`(un)

which none can avert.

maA lahU min. daAfi`(in)

It will be on a Day when the heaven shall reel and shake violently,

yaw.ma tamuwru (a)lssamaA~?u maw.r(an)A

and the mountains shall fly about.

watasiyru (a)l.jibaAlu say.r(an)A

Woe on that Day to the deniers

faway.l(un) yaw.maY_eidh(in) llilmukadhdhibiyna

who are today engaged in their (useless) arguments for sport.

(a)lladhiyna hum. fiy khawD(in) yal.`abuwna

The Day when they are driven and pushed to Hell-Fire,

yaw.ma yuda``uwna _ilaYE naAri jahannama da``(an)A

it will be said to them, "This is the same Fire that you were wont to deny.

haEdhihi (a)lnnaAru (a)llatiy kun.tum. bihaA tukadhdhibuwna

Now tell: ls this magic? Or, do you not perceive it?

Afasihrun hatha am antum la tubsiroona

Now burn! Whether you bear it patiently or not, it is all the same for you. You are being recompensed only according to your deeds."

(a)S.law.haA fa(a)S.biruwA[0] _aw. laA taS.biruwA[0] sawaA~?(un) AAalay.kum. [sly] _innamaA tuj.zaw.na maA kun.tum. taAA.maluwna

The righteous shall be in Gardens and Bliss,

_inna (a)l.muttaqiyna fiy jannaEt(in) wana`iym(in)

rejoicing in what their Lord shall give them; and their Lord shall save them from the torment of Hell.

faEkihiyna bimaA~ ?a_ataEhum. rabbuhum. wawaqaYEhum. rabbuhum. `adhaAba (a)l.jaHiymi

(It will be said to them:) "Eat and drink with relish as a reward for what you have been doing."

kuluwA[0] wa(a)sh.rabuwA[0] haniy(an)[m]A bimaA kun.tum. ta`.maluwna

They will be reclining on couches, facing each other, and We shall wed them to houris with beautiful eyes.

muttakiY_eiyna `alaYE surur(in) mmaS.fuw.fa(t)(in) [sly] wazawwaj.naYEhum. biHuwr(in) `iyn(in)

Those who have believed and their offspring also have followed in their footsteps in degrees of faith, We shall join to them those of their offspring also (in Paradise) and shall not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person is a pledge for what he has earned.

wa(a)lladhiyna ?aAmanuwA[0] wa(a)ttaba`.tum. dhurriyyatuhum. bi_iymaEn(in) _al.Haq.naA bihim. dhurriyyatahum. wamaA~ _alat.naEhum. min. `amalihim. min. shay.[j]?(in) kullu (a)m.riy_e(in) bimaA kasaba rahiyn(un)

We shall go on providing them well with fruits and meat, such as they may desire.

Waamdadnahum bifakihatin walahmin mimma yashtahoona

They shall zealously be passing from hand to hand a cup of wine which shall neither contain idle talk nor immorality.

yatanaEza`uwna fiyhaA ka_a.s(an)A llaA lagh.w(un) fiyhaA walaA ta_a.thiym(un)

And there will go round to them young boys, exclusively appointed for their service, who will be as lovely as- well-guarded pearls.

wayaTuwfu `alay.him. ghil.maAn(un) llahum. ka_annahum. luwe.luwe(un) mak.nuwn(un) [hizb]

They will turn to one another and ask (about their worldly lives).

wa_aq.bala ba`.duhum. `alaYE ba`.d(in) yatasaA~?aluwna

They will say, "Before this we lived among our kinsfolk, in fear and dread.

qaAluwA[0] _innaA kunnaA qab.lu fiy~ _ah.linaA mush.fiqiyna

Consequently, Allah has been bounteous to us and has saved us from the torment of the scorching wind.

famanna Allahu `alay.naA wawaqaYEnaA `adhaAba (a)lssamuwmi

Indeed, we prayed only to Him in our previous life. Most surely He is the Beneficent, the Merciful."

_innaA kunna min. qab.lu nad.`uwhu [sly] _innahU huwa (a)l.barru (a)lrraHiymu

So, O Prophet, go on admonishing (them). By the grace of your Lord, you are neither a soothsayer nor mad.

fadhakkir. famaA _an.ta bini`.mati rabbika bikaAh(in) walaA maj.nuwn(in)

Do they say, "He is a poet for whom we are awaiting the adverse turn of fortune?" then, "

_am. yaquwluwna shaA`ir(un) natarabbaSu bihI ray.ba (a)lmanuwni

Yes, wait; I too shall wait with you."

qul. tarabbaSuwA[0] fa_inniy ma`akum. mina (a)lmutarabbiSiyna

Do their minds command them to do so, or, are they a people who have transgressed all limits?

Am tamuruhum ahlamuhum bihatha am hum qawmun taghoona

Do they say, "This man himself has forged this Qur'an" The fact is that they do not want to believe.

_am. yaquwluwna taqawwalahU [j] bal. llaA yuwe.minuwna

Let them then produce a discourse like it, if they are true in what they say.

fal.ya_a.tuwA[0] biHadiyth(in) mithlihI~ _in. kaAnuw. SaEdiqiyna

Have they been created without a Creator? Or, are they their own creators?

_am. khuliquwA[0] min. ghay.ri shay.?(in) _am. humu (a)l.khaEliquwna

Or, have they created the heavens and the earth? The fact is that they lack faith.

_am. khalaquwA[0] (a)lssamaEwaEti wa(a)l._ar.Da bal. llaA yuwqinuwna

Do they possess the treasures of your Lord? Or, is it they who control them?

_am. `in.dahum. khazaA~Y_einu rabbika _am. humu (a)l.muS[-s]ay.Tiruwna

Do they have a ladder by climbing which they overhear what goes on in heavens? Then let any of them who has overheard bring a clear proof.

_am. lahum. sullam(un) yas.tami`uwna fiyhi [sly] fal.ya_a.ti mus.tami`uhum. bisul.TaEn(in) mmubiyn(in)

Is Allah to have daughters and you sons?

_am. lahu (a)l.banaEtu walakumu (a)l.banuwna

Do you ask them for any rewards that they are weighed down under a load of debt?

_am. tas.Yealuhum. _aj.r(an)A fahum. min. magh.ram(in) mmuth.qaluwna

Do they have the knowledge of the unseen realities whereby they may be writing down?

_am. `in.dahumu (a)l.ghay.bu fahum. yak.tubuwna

Do they intend to devise a plot? (If so,) the plot shall recoil upon the disbelieves themselves.

_am. yuriyduwna kay.d(an)A [sly] fa(a)lladhiyna kaEfaruwA[0] humu (a)l.makiyduwna

Do they have a god other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him.

_am. lahum. _ilaYEh(un) ghay.ru Allahi [j] sub.HaEna Allahi `ammaA yush.rikuwna

Even if they saw fragments of the sky falling down, they would say, "this is a mass of clouds advancing."

wa_in. yarawA[0] kis.f(an)A mina (a)lssamaA~?i saAqit(an)A yaquwluwA[0] saHaAb(un) mmar.kuwm(un)

Therefore, O Prophet, leave them to themselves till they meet that Day of theirs wherein they shall be struck down,

fadhar.hum. HattaYE yulaEquwA[0] yaw.mahumu (a)lladhiy fiyhi yuS.AAaquwna

the Day when neither shall their own plotting avail them anything nor shall anyone else come to their rescue.

yaw.ma laA yugh.niy `an.hum. kay.duhum. shay.Ye(an)A walaA hum. yun.Saruwna

And even before that there awaits the wrongdoers another torment, but most of them do not know.

wa_inna lilladhiyna ZalamuwA[0] `adhaAb(an)A duwna dhaElika walaEkinnaA _ak.tharahum. laA ya`.lamuwna

Endure patiently, O Prophet, until your Lord's judgment comes to pass sight. Glorify your Lord with His praise when you rise up,

wa(a)s.bir. liHuk.mi rabbika fa_innaka bi_a`.yuninaA [sly] wasabbih. biHam.di rabbika Hiyna taquwmu

and glorify Him in the night too, and also at the retreat of the stars.
